The media has reported [on a possible iPhone vulnerability](http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19918982/) that’d allow someone to hijack your phone.
Erica’s phone may be one of the first cases of this happening.
We got a bill from AT&T with a ton of international text messages sent to and from Azerbaijan.
Well, needless to say we haven’t been to Azerbaijan, ever, nor do we have any plans to visit in the future.
We called AT&T tonight and they took the charges off, but then we looked at the current billing cycle and there are still more outgoing text messages.
The AT&T fraud center is closed for evening (thanks) so we have to call back tomorrow and a.) get a block on international texting put on and b.) get AT&T to figure out what the hell is going on.
I’m not entirely sure how the exploit, if it is one, works, but for now we’ve turned my wife’s phone off.
I hope it’s just a billing error on AT&T’s part… more as I hear it.
