Remote logging with Python logging and Django

  • Remote logging with Python logging and Django – I don't know why, but we've yet to find something at work that's begging to have additional logging in our Django apps. But if we did, this would be a great way to do it. We log our (few) 500 errors out to the apache error_log and use an app to grep that and notify us of problems.

Oooooh lemon-y

These were supposed to be a Valentine’s gift for [Erica](http://www.ericaendicott.com) but I didn’t have the required lemon oil at the time.

When it arrived this week I was told that my IOU was being called in… and I’m glad it was!

These are really tasty and have only a hint of lemon and sweetness. They taste good on their own, but for more sweetness you could add some butter or jam.

Erica thought they’d go really well with chicken salad — with or without the sugar on top.

[The recipe](http://blog.kingarthurflour.com/2009/02/09/roll-playing-lemon-love/) comes from the source of almost all my baking, the [King Arthur Flour Blog](http://blog.kingarthurflour.com/)

Better Running Through Walking

  • Better Running Through Walking – I just started the couch to 5k plan and it starts you off with a minute of running and a minute of walking, so far it's been working well for me.
