  • As the "mainstream" media goes, so do the bloggers – Nieman Lab points out that the study used anything indexed by Google News as mainstream, so that actually includes Nieman Lab. I think the larger point of the study is there are clearly primary outlets on the Web and secondary outlets that closely track them. The traditional/new media breakdown of both strata will continue to be in flux I'd imagine.
