- Columbia J-School’s Existential Crisis – I don't have a lot of faith in any J-School's ability to change in the right way, my alma mater included. Take, for instance: "..capable of creating an interactive graphic as they are of pounding out 600 words…" — digital journalism is most likely not going to consist of a ton of interactive graphics, I don't think the ROI is really there. I'd like to see a j-school start with the supposition that digital content is a commodity and go from there.
