Gmail theme showing incorrect weather

Is anyone else having an issue where their [Gmail theme](http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&ctx=mail&answer=112508) is showing incorrect weather?

It’s 11:38 on a Sunday in Atlanta. There are clear blue skies out and the tree theme is showing me thunderclouds.

Did you set your location placed in themes section?

  2. Chris says:

Yes, I had initially set it for my zip code, and then I also tried it set for Atlanta, GA.

But on either setting it showed the cloudy day…

I’ve noticed the same thing, all the way down in Cape Town, South Africa.

Not that I use gmail themes to tell me what the weather’s doing, but it’s annoying when it’s out of synch.

I’ve noticed the same thing in Maastricht (Netherlands). Bright blue skies outside, but gmail tree is telling me it’s raining cats and dogs.

Worse than this – mine is sunny and bright even though it is NIGHTTIME here!

Yeah, mine only started doing this in December, though. I wonder if it’s just a holiday thing? Starts going bonkers with the weather, maybe. But right now (night time in California) it’s showing bright sunny skies. Earlier this month, when it was clear weather, it was showing snow, snowstorms, incredible electrical storms, etc. It’s just been wrong wrong wrong lately.
